What is GRIT@Gov?
The GRaduate Industry Traineeships @ Gov (GRIT@Gov) Programme supports fresh graduates in gaining experience and skills, to facilitate their transition into full-time employment. Coordinated by the Public Service Division (PSD), GRIT@Gov offers traineeships for fresh graduates within public sector agencies.
Trainees will receive a monthly training allowance ranging from $1,800 to $2,400 for the duration of the traineeship. This training allowance may vary depending on the scope of each traineeship.
Eligibility Criteria
All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:
Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
Graduated or graduating in 2024, 2025 or 2026 from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024, 2025 or 2026
Applicants must have no prior working experience and must be prepared to commit to a full-time traineeship
Trainees who complete their studies from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) or other Educational Institutions within 2026 but who will only receive their qualification/certification award in 2027 are eligible for the programme as well.
